yo guys. I was wondering... many of my friends and i discuss alien-ware. And I was wondering. What is it really? Is it all mainly ment for gaming or is like got lots more ram or what is it? and how much?

They're just high-end custom computers, from what I have seen anyway. You can use them for gaming, or whatever.

Out of curiosity, how can you 'discuss' them if you don't know what they are?

Well, we have heard rumors about it. Also heard its meant for only this.. or only that.. so we all disagree what exactly IT is... but thanks for some what clearing that up.

Premium custom-built computers designed for gaming. You can use them for anything you want, but usually the people who want that kind of system are gamers. They're for the ones who go spend a few extra hundred just to get a few more fps.

We're talking about $2000-6000 here.

I wanted the Aurora or Area-51 but I couldn't afford so I just ordered some parts and will attempt building my own.

Alienware is expensive. I wouldn't suggest anyone who can build computers well to buy it there. I can find components of equal calibre, and sometimes better, for way cheaper price. But if you're the gamer who just wants to game, nothing else, and have money to blow, then Alienware is still an option. Still expensive though. Rather just save few hundred and spend that few hundred on more games.

alienware! *drools* if i had money to blow, i'd get one... the're unfortunatly very expensive. nice gaming computers!

Alien ware is so bad i hear alot of bad things about them

My saying is if you know how to bulid computers bulid them and you can get it for alot cheaper.
