i learned from a bunch of the free tutorials online and eventually learning to look at other peoples sources seeing how they did stuff and now i just throw a bunch of stuff together and hope it works lol most of the time it turns out how i want it to

I learnt some basic html by using FrontPage to make my homepage, and self modified the code if I needed to add something(like javascript). The code is easy to understand, and I learned a lot that way - only by looking at it trying to understand :)

Yeah I kinda need to learn HTML and web design so that I can create a website for my mom's business. Thanks for the book recommendations blkmage and volt. If anyone has any websites that they can recommend for tutorials, I would appreciate those as well. Thanks guys.
