Never got sick of coffee. Or coke. Or any beverage that dishes out sugar and/or caffeine in large doses.
I am addicted. Doesn't stop me being a Christian however.

Coffee keeps me working. If I'm about to do something intellectually challenging (eg. coding or writing a song) I usually have a 2x strength cup of the stuff, really helps get the brain going. ^_^

I'm just like you, Volt. Caffiene doesn't affect me or my sister; I don't care much for coffee although I do like the smell. The same goes with cola. I do drink tea once in a while, though.

Hmmm.... I guess I usually do not like to have caffeine in my body. There are few reasons. First, it really does not give a "boost" in anyway regardless of the strength of the caffeine in the drink. (Yes, I have tried some pretty strong coffees.) Second, the "boost" does not last long and is followed by long-lasting "down." Third, I tend to get dehydrated quickly with a lot of caffeine in my body. Fourth, I was never able to "sharpen" my thinking under the influence of caffeine. I just stay awake... and my thinking becomes "dull."
The way I stay awake and sharp is by eating right, exercising, and getting enough sleep whenever I can (it's hard, but I try). Also, stress from my assignments gives me enough adrenaline to muster through the late hours.
Don't get me wrong. I like quite a few drinks with caffeine. I like my Dew, Dr. Pepper, various coffee drinks... and of course, tea, the drink of warriors, scholars, emperors, and the common man.
So, I will gladly take a copy of that coffee ad featuring Rei Ayanami, LorentzForce.
*saves the image featuring Rei.*
Yes, I tend to get fanboy-ish with the women of Evangelion....
*looks at ad and starts muttering repeatedly, "Rei thinks coffee is good. Coffee must be good...."*

The exchange student at my house says that some coffee in Brazil is so strong, you have to have it shot glasses...can you imagine the buzz you'd get?

Actually, slater, there have been quite a few denominations throughout history that have cracked down on coffee. You may want to try doing a little research on the subject. It'll be entertaining, though I'm guessing it won't qualify you for the "life long learner credit."

Interestingly, the Ottoman Turks cracked down on coffee houses a few centuries ago, while simultaneously offering a certain tacit acceptance of wine-bars. Their theory was that many of the fairly alert people in the coffee-houses would talk about politics, whilst the patrons of the wine-bars were more languid and apt to pursue less political pleasures.

Doesn't your computer brew coffee too?

Well...theoretically, if coffee spilled on a computer, the computer would go *BOOM!* So, does that make it a computing issue?
Ahh...Coffee...Wish I had some now. I heard that it was healthy too. that's welcome news for those of us who have difficulty getting up before noon...

Simple, all computers have built in cup holder trays that eject out from the front of the computer. Of course, mine doesn't work anymore after coffee got in it. :/

Wow, that's really interesting. I'll keep that as a mental note next time I want to take over a country slowly through marshal law.
