Darn... normally I'm the "local expert" on GIMP, but I don't have it installed right now...
In what way does this differ from the motion blur?

I can't exactly expalain it because it has been almost a year since I've been able to use photoshop, but I know it is differnt because I tried to duplicate it's effect in the gimp and couldn't. The reason why I need it is because I was trying to follow a textering/modiling tutorial desighned for photoshop and maya. The closest thing I have to photoshop is GIMP. IF it helps you at all I will post a link to the tutorial so you can try to figure out how radial blur is differnt from radial motion blur and if it is posible to duplicate with GIMP some way.

So you're saying that if you have center point for the filter to start at and it blurs in a circle away from that point? I think that I see the picture that you're talking about in step #6. I don't know if I can help in finding it, but this is some detail that may help for some one who could.

I was under the impression that RMB was the combination of both, and that you could eliminate one effect or the other if you wanted. Hmm. Guess not, and I don't have access to one right this very second. I'll help look too, though.

Here's a page that I found off of gimp.org, the gimp's official website:
http://gimp.org/scripts.html There are pages to already made scripts that may or may not help and there are tutorials that will attempt to show you how to make the scripts.

There is also a Yahoo Group for Script writers... don't know if they take requests, but you might find something of interest there. I'd also recommend the Yahoo GIMP groups as well (I can let you know the names of the ones I've been involved in in the past) as they tend to be a good source of "how do you do this?"
I still don't have The GIMP loaded yet, I spent the day at my sisters and have only gotten home about an hour ago if that. (gotta catch up on the 6 pages of new threads here on CAA).
