Well, after a year or so as a member of the game http://www.cybernations.net, I've been officially inducted as a Forum Moderator! It's a massive site, with several hundred people on the forums every day, ten thousand and more on the game every moment, with people from all over the world playing the game and posting. It's exciting, and I'm very humbled to be able to serve that community.

As a side-note to this, I'm interested in any advice people (particularly mods and admins here) would like to give me as I take up this new role.

(Also, for the people who know me and my rp's: I'm not the one you think when you look at the list of people online.)

As a mod for another site here's the best piece of advice I can give you: Always be on guard against the dreaded spam bots. *shivers*

And congrats on becoming a mod! It's exciting to be chosen as one!

Blah. If you're going to advertise other sites at least put it on the links board. >.<

Do ya really think I would do that, Shatter, after all the years I've been hanging out here and keeping my nose clean...what, I'm just going to suddenly reveal myself as a dirty advertiser? I leaned on these forums alot for support during the hard times, and though I don't stand around in the General Section as much as I used to, I thought I'd maintained my reputation.

W/E. I can't edit it, or else I would.
