I need help choosing a video card!

Postby Goofy-Luffy » Wed Nov 15, 2006 2:47 pm

Hey all you smart poeple! :)
I'm going to get a computer from Dell, but I don't know what to do regarding the video card.
Ok, the computer comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Integrated Graphics GPU. For 50$ more, I can get a 256MB NVIDIA Geforce 7300LE TurboCache thing.
Is that video card worth the fifty, or should I get a different one at, like, Wal Mart? (they have a video card in the clearence isle)
So, there's my question.
Thanks! :thumb:

I would look for a 7600GT at least, the extra $60 would be well worth it for the increase in performance if you plan on doing any gaming.

Integrated graphics chips are not going to be able to power your games well, and some of them might not even run at all. 256 Megs is definitely worth the extra cash. You'll be glad you did.
