Wow no one can seem to help me on this one^^ All I want to do is get a simple mic to work! I'll explain all the things I've already gone over and info stuffage so if someone can help out, that would be GREAT^^

-running on an :/ of a Windows 98 (and it has issues that if say, you stick something in a USB it will never install a driver for it :/)

-plug in is analog and goes into a pink plug in (only one that produces sound)

-I can hear on my speakers, but can't seem to send it over say, via msn for them to hear :/

-my mic volume and everything IS turned up to the max

-tried everything possible to configure the sound but nothing's making a difference :/

-said it could be a driver issue but I'm so very BAD with dealing with driver stuffage^^

So if someone can please help out, thanks^^ Hoping to have this done by tomorrow morning but don't think I'll be that lucky with it (better I figure it out at all since I wasted a gift card on it^^)

Windows 98 had a program called Media Player. If I remember you access it through start/programs/entertainment/media player--
open it and make sure the mic box is checked. You could also record through line in so check it too. Make sure your mic is plugged into either a jack labeled mic or line in.
Good luck.
