w00t! Death to IE! LOL Actually, it does sound like adware, etc. If you can get rid of that, you should have no more problems. You might see what programs are booting at startup.

I would suggest getting a different browser or so. You could get Mozzila Fireird which is really good, I use it, or you could download the thing that Lorentz told you about. Both of those are my suggestions. But I suggest down with IE, get Mozzlla Firebird. It's free, and if you have a 56k modem it takes about 40 minutes to download. It actually might go faster than IE. But that's probably just because it's faster than my tortise IE. But, whatever you would like to do.

I think that if you're going to use IE at all, at least download the Google Toolbar, that makes it bearable (it's got a popup blocker and also has a Google Pagerank
meter on it)
I'm down with the mozilla cru anyways

adaware is best used with another program called spybot search and destroy...each one gets stuff the other will not detect...

Yes, it definetely is ad-ware. You'll have to search up the ad-ware yourself and delete it... I had the same incident. And it's still not fixed
I surf the internet on Safe Mode for now lol.
