Favorite Computer Companies?

My personal favorites are Dell, Alienware, and Falcon Northwest.
My viewpoint is from a gamer:
Dell: Well, my computer is an XPS and it hasn't failed me yet. Fair price.
Alienware: Powerful, cool looking, but seriously overpriced.
Falcon Northwest: Like Alien, but an with an AWESOME custom paintjob!
So, what's yours?
Note:
I messed up on the Poll, it's favorite Computer Company.

Apple isn't my *all-time* favourite, but it's the most favourite of mine that I can still buy from, so I'll choose that. Guess what #1 is?

i think microsoft has a big room full of computers, and then they let a bunch of monkies and ferrets loose on the keyboards, then they take the gibberish they get from that, and sell it to us as their products.

Does anybody know if Commodore even still exists?

I'm gonna go for Gateway because of there incredible video editing setup... It would take a lot of drugs (of the brainwashing variety, not narcotics) to get me to go apple... I just like my windows too much... I haven't had any problems with it in a while, except for ram problems... I do need more ram... 256 doesn't cut it... Next update, I'm getting at least 2 GB... The Video Editing computer comes with 2 250GB harddrives, perfect for full frame uncompressed video projects, which I plan on doing, and of course powerful 3.2 gigahertz hyperthreading processor, and 800 Mhz FSB (not quite the 1 GHz that apple offers, but for ease of use and comfort like an old shoe, I'd put up with that)
Until then, I'm stuck with my crappy E-machines... I never got my 300 dollars in mail-in rebates, those cheating bunch of thieves...

It does, but only as a brand of a Dutch concern called Tulip, which bought the name. Most of the tech patents that aren't expired, including the Amiga properties, are owned by (of all companies) Gateway -- yes, that Gateway, the PC clone manufacturer.

I'm biased, but I do think I got what I paid for with my dual G4 Mac. That being said, when purchased (about a year ago), this dual 1.25GHz G4 Power Mac was a cool $3300. (ouch!)

Yeah, I have to say, you get what you pay for. Then again, unless they have changed in the last few years, Apple has the highest margins in the industry. Something astrinomical like 60% or so.
*sigh*

I'd have to say Apple and Gateway are my favorites. Gateway is what I use, and I used an Apple a couple times when the Library had them and I was there. They were so cool.
I'm not all that fond of Dell. I don't know why, just not the best memory, and programming computer for me I guess.

Built that sucker a while back, upgrading something every other couple months. Can't see it in the picture but it's got a blue neon cancer-causing light coming out of the case. Notice the Nerv logo on the case?
Sharon Apple I bought in May, JUST before they released the G5 and they wouldn't let me return it or get $$ back for the G5. >.<
But I'm very happy with her
She treats me good.

Yeah, but if you look at the specs and everything, mine is pretty close to the low end G5...at least that's what I keep telling myself
lol

Oh, I dunno, I think the dual 1.42 holds its own well. I intentionally bought the dual 1.25 (this was before the dual 1.42 was available) rather than waiting for the G5 because there are still some apps I have that only work in OS 9, as well as my beloved high quality analogue capture card. It's no G5, but I think it still rocks.
