Chat not working

I use IE and FireFox and can't get the chat to work with either one. When I use IE it says "page cannot be displayed", and when I use FireFox, I get an "operation timed out" error. I downloaded the latest Java, but it still won't work. Any clues?

Don't work ether way for me. I know its not my PC couse the Mac at my church and the PCs at the college will not ether. And the Mac and college PC have high speed. And the mac loaded it before as did it on my laptop.

I haven't been able to chat since I joined.
Like I sayed, an IRC channel would be better!
