FTP through Firefox?

Is it possible to access "ftp://ftp.*domain name*.com" and upload things to your server in Mozilla Firefox? And if so, how, because I've been having some technical difficulties figuring that part out. I know you can do it in IE, but I'm scared to open IE and get bombarded with pop-ups and I have no FTP client.

You can't upload in Firefox, nor in most web browsers that offer FTP. WS_FTP or any of the many free FTP clients will let you.
There is also a text-mode FTP client built in to Windows, but most people find it very terse if you don't know how to use the Unix FTP client (the commands are the same because Microsoft modeled the Windows one on it).

Are you talking about command prompt, Shooby, or am I going crazy? >.>; I tried command prompt and it drove me nuts. ^_^; So a link to a free FTP client would be much appreciated.
