Ok you techies and inventors! I have a problem for you. I have one two-way radio (no battery door) and a cordless phone that doesn't work. Is there something useful I can make using the components of these items? You'll have to spell out any directions you have since I've never done anything like this before. No time like the present to learn something new, right? Let me hear your ideas!!

Depends on the reason why the cordless phone doesn't work. And if you want to fix that phone by using the two-way radio it won't work, unless you knew exactly how the cordless phone worked at which frequency using which method to dial, if it has buttons on the phone itself.
If the radio's small enough you can fit it inside the phone and connect it to both your speaker and microphone piece in the wireless phone. Listen to music while you chat!
Otherwise, nothing more from me.

Cordless phone is probably either a 900MHz or 2.4GHz, I'd guess. And you could always turn them into a death ray.

I believe you can melt the solder off the board and sell them for money.

Actually Oblisk, that's not worth it because solders have to come with flux to be worth anything. Otherwise, they don't 'stick' to the metal conductors on PCB and components.
