BF1942 is choppy!!

BF1942 is choppy!!

BF1942 is usualy very choppy on my computer. The weird thing is it isnt always choppy. Anybody know some soloutions?

restart
get out of any high memory programs (especially anti-virus programs)
defrag
update video card drivers
update battlefield if you havent
