Video Reversing software

Postby Jack Bond » Sat Mar 24, 2007 2:39 pm

I need any software that can reverse (And optionally edit) Videos.
Someone said that Windows movie maker can do that, but I can't find the function for the life of me.

Any video suggestions or does somebody know how to use WMM to reverse videos?

What do you mean by reverse? Like just play backwards? I know Goldwave does that for audio.

I've never heard of any progran doing that. It'd be a rather complex task, I'd think. You could always hit up open-source sites like Sourceforge and Freshmeat and see if someone's coded and submitted a program to do it. That's usually what I do if I need a program to do something rather odd or uncommon.

I'm pretty sure I've done that before in VirtualDub. (Once installed), load the video, set the processing to reverse, which will give you an output file, then edit with WMM. I'm not sure if it gives you sound though... it may depend on which version you have, and I might have had an old version. If that fails for sound, you might be able to extract it and reverse that separately. But yeah, try VirtualDub.
Everywhere like such as, and MOES.
