You are Special...

Our Father...
For every little boy that grew up without a daddy,
For every little girl that didn't have a chance to play in the park with her father,
For ever man that had to play a role his father wasn't there to teach him,
For ever girl that was abused by her biological father, and now as a woman has a distorted view about men and is insecure about marrying one,
For every boy that's afraid of taking responsibility because his biological father ran from it...
Jesus says "Our Father, which art in heaven..." Matthew 6:9
The Father that never fails to comfort you when you're weak, the Father that will never abuse you, or use words that will destroy your character. The Father that knows your favorite flavor of ice-cream, the one that listens to and feels your pain when no one else knows it's there. The Father that will scream with you down the coaster, roll with you in the grass, wipe every tear from your eyes with his hand, pick up where we've failed, throw you on his shoulder when you're too tired to walk, and hold you spinning you around when you were on the fence and the other kids didn’t want to play with you.
For ever orphan that families refused to pick Jesus says, "Our Father"
For every woman that grew up without a fathers presence as a sense of security Jesus says, "Our Father"
Our- That means you’re not alone, you have brothers and sisters in Christ. And if you didn't have a chance in life to know what it's like to have a big brother because you were the first born, Jesus will be your big brother.
Our Father- A covering for you, call on his name he will hear and respond. He’s with you at school, he’s with you at your job, when he works overtime (figuratively speaking) it’s spending more time with you, because you’re special.
Our Father- When the other kids at school criticize you it’s because they’re jealous, the spirits in them can see that you’re a special child, and the devil will never tell the truth about you. But you have my last name, when they criticize you they’re talking about me, when they try to put you down it proves that the grace of my presence on you can be seen.
So let him be your Father/Daddy/Abba, because he’ll never fail you…
