whew I didn't write at all yesterday and when I sat down this morning I thought there was no way I was going to catch up. Then inspiration came and I got 2500 words out in about three hours. *cheer* Not behind anymore.

Wow; that's good. Congrats! Glad you got inspiration. ^_^ Hope it was fun writing!

By the way, am I the only one who's found that they've written a lot already, yet hardly go to the half-way point on their story? :eh:

I'm trying to move things along now, but seriously I'm surprised I haven't advanced through the plot faster than I have.

Oh man, I'm in the exact same boat as you, Photosoph. >.> I vaguely introduced the plot a few days ago, but my characters are goingto be idling for a couple more days until something gets set into motion. I have the feeling I might not finish in just 50k words! :O

Also, I didn't get a chance to write at all yesterday, so I'm trying to recoup it all today. >.<\ Only 1700 more words until I'm done!

lol I'm in the same boat you guys. I'm JUST getting into the actually "story"... I wasn't really expected to finish it in 50000 anyhow. I'll just have to force myself to write after Nov.... pfffftt like that's going to happen =_=; At least I know I can do it.

Gah; finding it hard to write 1667 per day today. Just have to force-write it and breathe a sigh of relief when I get to that amount. Also... I finally made an LJ account. I think I'm too easily inspired by other people... :sweat:

I've only written one post on it so far (an introduction, really); but I think I might post my story there. Only... my story in its Nanowrimo form has a lot of spam and random writing, so I won't post that. Just the story itself, taking away my rambling introductions and comments strewn through it.

And all that other good word filler stuff. :lol:

I took the 'neko_supreme' name there as well. I'm starting to like using that username to sign up for things now.

I was actually asking whether you'd finished Nanowrimo altogether and reached 50,000 words... but now that I think about it, if you'd done that then you would've probably said it far more clearly, and I would have had to throw a lot more confetti and a dance party to celebrate.

3200's good. I haven't felt like writing much at the mo; doesn't help that my eyes are sore. HOWEVER, it's a beautiful sunny day (finally; it's been raining and we've had stormy weather for a couple of days, despite it being near the end of Spring here. Guess it goes with being on a small island country with both Antartica and the tropics affecting the weather pattern) so maybe I can get outside, enjoy the fresh air and relax my eyes later today. ^_^ That sounds fun.

I was at a really rough spot, but I forced myself to wrap crap-prose to get through it and got to a part I had all planned out. It also helps that I'm a tad unsocial around my relatives cause I got 2500 done today =]

Unfortunately the last days are also the last week of normal school for me for the quarter... I have 2 concerts, one monday and one wednesday, project proof due on wednesday, a poster due on tuesday and a fifteen page project due the next week...

Anyway, since I've not been feeling so great, I've been off CAA and writing for two days. Doubt I'll catch up the missing words, but that's not important. My health is! \*o* Anyway, even if I don't make it to 50,000 this year there's always 2007. And it's been good to finally write down my story.

I even have plans for a sequel next year. This is quite exciting.

I so agree with you there, KNeko. This has been great even if (and I probably won't) get to 50k. I don't think I've written this much on one story before. All of mine have been about 20-30,000; but mostly around the 25,000 mark. I only got to about 30k once, and haven't done so again -until now

I'm 15K off... and writing absolute drivel to make it that far by now. If I jsut had made a better schedule I would have been fine but sadly I didnt.

PS I don't mind people reading but I am going to edit out some of the really worthless stuff before I distribute it just so the story makes sense.

Well, Nanowrimo's over for me now. ^_^ I didn't really write more, but writing so much per day was straining my brain and making me tired and sending my emotions on a few roller-coaster rides because of said tiredness. =P But I'm happy; I wrote a lot, and I don't plan to just let my Nanowrimo novel gather dust. I'll write more on it, I think, but just not so much each day. ^_^

Yup, like you I'll need to take out some of the pointless stuff I wrote before posting it up. I might even do that today.

sooo it's official =] I didn't finish the actual story though, and I get the feeling that I will have a much harder time forcing myself to write from here on out... BUT I have ideas, and now I can start revising some parts.

now we need to read each others... I might post it once here and once on another thread, but it's so long that I can't really see anyone stumbling on it and wanting to read it.
