A dark shadow
Repelled the good, light.
Haunting anyone, everyone and me.

I walked and walked...
I hid and hid...
Until there was no hope left.

So damp and dark I felt myself chocking, drowning in the air.
My nothingness engulfed me.
I stretched my hand infront of me...it was so dark I could see...
NOTHING
I waved and shook
NOTHING
I tried a 1,2,3
NOTHING
When had I let myself become nothing?

One day I felt myself awake,
or so I thought.
Unable to tell yesterday from today or morning from night.
In the remote distance of absolute stillness, there was a small twinkle of light.
How? I asked myself.
Weary, I tread closer and closer each day.
Mesmerized by something I was not.

Any moment I would get close enough to see the particles of dust in anti-gravity.
I would RUN away so far, I had forgotten about that ray of light.
But everytime I felt my eyes open, there it was, amongst the emptiness.
This was the moment I was going to do what I never could.
I touched the ray of light, and as I did my fears washed away.
HOW?!! It can't be!, I began to panick.
I could finaly see me, this warm feeling enveloped my skin and all the darkness and hopelessness...
... was forgotten.

There's some symbolism as to what the darkness is and what the light is.
I'm not sure where this all came from, this morning during my Contemp-Summer-Class, I just picked up my pen and wrote away.

Yeah, good visuals and description. I like this sort of prose very much.
