Are You Ready?


Danny had been dead for three days when Eunice brought him down to the church. The back of her dress was darkened by sweat and the humidity of late spring. Her dark face was accented by deep red and the tracks of her tears were fading. “He done miracles all up and down Alabama, and he’ll be coming here.â€
