Hands cramping in an attempt to control
The seeping hatred just below
Hissing and spitting its distaste
Towards the ideals she holds so dear
Mind mocking as she quickens her pace
A dense silence overtaking the air
Struggling for solace, I follow behind
Pace lax, face disconnected, mind rebelling in its entirety
I allow her to finish her hypocrisy
Inflicting insidious thoughts into unsuspecting hearts
She deflects denial, offering salvation
Carrying out her hidden agenda
Judging all, saving no on
And eventually, creating her own demise.
