CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I have an idea for a serious Christian manga set at a University. I WOULD PREFER A MALE ARTIST. The reason is that the main character starts out gay (he ends up falling in love with a Christian girl) and I don’t want to put any girls in a place of temptation.

My tentative title for this is “True Love.â€

Not being an artist I cannot help you in that arena, but as a writer I take some interest. I have two cautions for you: initially, the subject you have chosen is a very touchy one. That is not advice, merely a warning. My other caution is more concrete: with any redemption plot, you constantly run the risk of straw-manning non-christians or becoming seriously cheesy. Of course, when these things are escaped such works can be good indeed, but I believe they should be kept in mind.

Thanks for the input, UC. I am currently reworking some of the characters to avoid the straw man fallacy. Thank you for pointing that out. Once this gets off the ground, I would appreciate any constructive feedback.

I would be happy to give it, as far as I am able. Aside, it does my heart good to see someone recognize the straw man fallacy.

Given my own series I am working on and my schedule - I could possibly provide some concept art.
