Relativley Short Manga

Postby Kokhiri Sojourn » Sat Jan 10, 2004 1:01 pm

Anyone want to lend some advice? I've just recently started up reading manga, and I'm really interested in it. The problem is that I don't have much money, and though they are moderately priced for the most part, some span like 15 volumes, which can be really expensive. So, what would be some really great and relatively clean manga that aren't many volumes long?

Angelic Layer by CLAMP is really good about a girl who builds a type of fighting doll to play matches with. It is only 5 volumes.
Magic Knight Rayearth by CLAMP also is really really good (I almost cried over a manga!) is about three girls who get called to another world to help save it. It is only two sets of three volumes, total of 6 volumes.
Highly recommend an by CLAMP.
Also, Tokyo Mew Mew is (so far) only 4 volumes. It is about 5 girls who get accidentally injected with extinct animal DNA and have to use this to help save the world. Really good and funny.
Then there is .hack//legend of the twilight which (so far) is only 2 volumes. Really good and similar to the show.
Well, thats all the short ones I can think of for now, hope this helps! ^_^
