yeah. i read a review on it in the...i think august (or september) issue of SJ. it looks pretty cool. i mean, a baby assassin (i think) training a high school boy to be a mafia leader. get a gun with wierd bullets and a dude who throws explosives everywhere and what do you get? but then, why's it rated "T+"? is it really that violent? or is there nudity? or what?

Hello! I've never read the manga, but very much plan to. However, I've heard there's mostly violence. Not really sexual stuff.

:O I want to read it!!

As do I. I've read the first chapter and saw the first episode (liked the manga version better, though, I think =< ).

I know of somewhere you can read it; unfortunately, they don't offer the first volume anymore, since it's already published here. That's fine to me, except that our book store doesn't carry it. D;

i read the first volume a month ago. it didn't really turn out the way i expected it to. i thought it would be more action packed and stuff. it was more comedy...

Yeah, I believe I heard most of the beginning is just comedy and "everyday" stuff, but it's suppose to pick up alot later on ("Vongola Arc," I think?).

Yeah. I mean, I like the series because it combines comedy and promises action later on as well. There's also another arc that also seems to be action-y.

A lot of people say that the anime is just a kiddy version of the manga, which is why I want to get my hands on the manga. :D

hmmm...if the manga gets interesting later on, i might consider it. how many volumes out in Japan right now?

There are 13 volumes out in Japan. I read a bit of this awhile back but stopped as it felt rather pointless. It supposedly does have more action in the later volumes however (and if the covers are any indication.)

It's apparantly one of Jump's more popular series currently.

yeah. the main idea or concept of the story was pretty original and it seemed interesting, but the first volume seriously disappointed me...

That's because it's in a day-in-life type phase. Obviously it's not going to excite and wow just yet.

I want to check it out at the library instead of rashly buying the books, but it's still so new. ;___;
