I've read the first and second Trigun. I really want to get my hands on Trigun Maximum, since that seems to be where all the good stuff happens.

At the moment I have read only the first volume and half of the second. Is there a third volume, or does it switch to Trigun Maximum after that? I am also very curious as to what the creator's original intentions were, as opposed to the anime, which I did enjoy.

Nope, there isn't any third volume. The story continues to Trigun Maximum, and then hopefully goes on after that. Trigun Maximum is GREAT! So much action, comedy and more great art! It's like the regular Trigun manga, but improved and at a faster pace! I Highly recommend it! :thumb:

MEEEEEEEEEE!!! Finally, some people who appreciate the manga! Oh, I absolutely LOVE it!! I've got all four that are out and as you can see from my sig, I'm eagerly anticipating the fifth!!
Also, I went hunting around different sites, and found these two scans of Trigun Maximum #3. Sure, they're in Japanese, but beggars can't be choosers...and 30 days is to long to wait!
(I hope I don't scare people away with my enthusiasm....)

I've read the first two volumes. I like it. Haven't read Maximum yet however.

Yeah, I did that already. I did that for #2 and went, "HUH?!" You know all that crap about that guy with the steel boomerang? I was so confused....

I have both Trigun volumes, and the first volume of Maximum. I'd like to get the other Maximum volumes as well. They're going on my Christmas list.

Thank you for the link; I actually looked at all available Trigun previews. I might question their choice of pages, but it was still fairly interesting to see. Perhaps I should make it a priority to read this series.

What they do is take the first four pages. The only problem with that is that the first four pages don't really tell you anything....

I've got 1, 2, and Maximum 1. I saw Maximum 2 in the bookstore last time I went looking, but opted for .hack 2 instead. Can't wait to get a hold of M2 though. I like the storyline, and hopefully will understand everything a little better at the end of the manga then at the end of the anime.

I have T 1&2 and TM 1&2. If I had any dislike for the series I would have almost felt ripped-off at the end of TM 2. It stops just as what looks to be a great action sequence is about to start. But instead I'm waiting eagerly for the release of TM 3. November 17 eh, AngelSakura? I'll be sure to mark it down on my calendar.
