CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I mean from a christian point of view does plot line matter the most. Or does it have to be clean and not violent. What kind of stuff keeps you away from the manga? Personally i tend to go on story line and if there is some nudity or violence i just ignore and have to finish the story and it subtracts but doesn't destroy the read.

Well, I'd say that good manga to me would be manga with:

--Minimal nudity (or none for that matter)

--A manga that has good characters, or bad characters that change for the better.

--If there are bad things in it, I like to see them frowned upon by other characters.

--I don't freak out some minor language, but it makes me happy when there's not excessive language.

--I don't really like alot of hacking off of limbs or decapitations. But I can stand a little bit of violence.

That would be the paper-cut out for good manga in my book.

Story good and keeps you interested, art very good, minimal nudity and such, charcters that are interesting and lovable even if bad or good..... cant think of any more at the moment ^^'

More than anything, I am put off from Christian manga when I disagree with the basic philosophy it expouses.

In regard to general manga: nudity is obvious a negative aspect, but fanservice actually bothers me even more. Pointless violence is also irksome. Other violence is generally fine in my book, and is required if it is an action story. Excessive language severely detracts, but otherwise I don't mind.

I would say plot is essential, regardless of Christian or non-Christian position.
