chrono cross?

I'm sorry if there's already a thread about this, but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the manga Chrono Cross? I know there's a nun in it, but that's about all I know.

Is it accurate about religion (if there's even religious content) or is it just the Nihonjin putting religion into anime because they think it's cool?;

Um, I think you mean Chrono Crusade. See, Chrono Cross is a Playstation game that was a (poorly made) sequel to the SNES smash hit Chrono Trigger. Just so ya know.

Oh, and this should have probably gone in the manga forum...but I'm sure a mod will move it soon enough.

And I'm also pretty sure you're referring to Chrono Crusade. I've only read a little bit of the manga. While Rosette is a nun of sorts (howbeit a gun totin', goggle wearin' nun ), her partner, Chrono, is a demon. That ought to tell you right off how accurate it is [not].

Definitely fallss into the "because it's cool" genre. There's a thread hanging around here that discusses the difference between the Japanese concept of demon and the US concept. I think the thread's about Inu Yasha.

I don't know if you'd call it completely religiously accurate...since Rosette is a nun who kills...
But the manga is good, better than I expected. ^_^

There is an anime out as well...the 1st volume just came out...I don't know how good it is though...
