One Truth Prevails... right?

Postby Esoteric » Wed Sep 08, 2004 1:18 pm

I'm tearing my hair out over this one guys. Can anyone confirm that the Detective Conan manga has been released and is in stores? I haven't seen it anywhere and every internet bookseller has a different release date listed. VIZ claims it shipped Aug. 4.

Has anyone gotten it yet, and if so, from where?

I saw it in a store the other day. I don't think I was dreaming... I was in a Barnes and Nobles in Maryland.
Think happy thoughts.

Korean? *a goofy grin pops Esoteric's face as she falls over* Thanks, but I can't read Korean.

Unfortunately, my friendly neighborhood B&N doesn't have it. *gets up and starts walking to Maryland*

I saw it at the Waldenbooks in my mall. NOTE: It's called Case Closed, not Detective Conan. That could be the problem.

So the Conan the Barbarian rights holders have even wraped their red tape all over the manga? Wow.

Oh, and not to spoil the "catch pharse" thing, but I'm a purist. In the Japanese, he says, "There is only one truth," not "One truth prevails".
