Does Nodame Cantabile have any objectionable content in it? I hear its rated 16+ so I thought I'd ask.

Groping, some really mild sexual talk (in jest), drinking and alcoholism, if I recall correctly.

The rating surprises me, but that is probably the intended audience.

Again,

Language is almost NEVER the cause of objectionable content in manga because the original Japanese anime or manga does not contains words that have the same level of vulgarity as English curse words. If there are bad words in your anime, it's because the translator-- fan OR professional-- is taking liberties and trying to spice it up.
