Legend of Zelda manga?

Postby Danderson » Sat Nov 17, 2007 7:26 pm

I just wanted to ask, does anyone know if there is or was any manga of anything related to the Legend of Zelda video games?....

Yes there are actually several and I think they have one for every game covered up to Wind Waker though I'm not sure.

Yep. There were a few. Although they're not accepted as canon by the Zelda community.

There was a series based on Ocarina, Majora's Mask, The Orcales, and The Minish Cap.

I remember one website had a translation available. I'll edit my post with the link when I can find it.

Not sure if this was the same site Alexander mentioned, but it does have the translated versions of the Ocarina, Majora's Mask, Oracles and Minish Cap manga available for download.

[clipped]

Hope that helped. :)

Tereya: CAA does not allow links to such manga sites, so I removed that part of your post. Alexander, please don't post your link for the same reason.

However, those were the LoZ manga of which I am aware. Others in this thread have already mentioned them, but as of this post there is no way of getting them in English (legally).

Wind Waker? I had not heard of a manga adaptation of that.

Ahh, I apologize. I wasn't sure whether links were allowed or not, so I checked the FAQ to be sure and didn't see anything regarding it, so I assumed it was alright.

Apologies, once again.

I've looked again and there isn't one. It had been awhile since I last checked so I thought that they might had made one but didn't really know.

Wasn't there also an American made adaptation of Link to the Past?

Yes, there was as well. I remember the art style being very unique.

That's alright. There are a number of things that are not allowed but not mentioned in the rules. This is a problem, but until it is fixed (it's not part of the database, so I can't alter that page) I don't fault anyone for breaking them without knowing.

Yes. It was featured in Nintendo Power, unless you are thinking of a different one. Unfortunately, the only link I have on hand concerning it violates the rule just discussed.
