Freckles--the Rurouni Kenshin theme? If so, there's an English version.

yup, its the opening theme song for the Rurouni kenshin English version. There's also the japanese one...^_^'

There is an English version, it's at the beginning of the Rurouni Kenshin show when it's on Cartoon Network (in the middle of the night, at least, but it's not on anymore...*growl*). Heh, I was wondering why the lines in the song don't rhyme...^^;

Yes i think that was my favorite Kenshin opening and for endings i really like the one that says "Ciao" all through out it.

This song is like a happy drug for me (if you'll indulge my similie... let's think legal - Nitrous Oxide! Gotta love laughing gas!). Just reading the words made me all giddy! I think.... I should.... go now.......

There's even a Dance Dance Rev version of the "official" English remake, on DDR's 6th mix. A remake of a remake, so to speak. It has different lyrics too; goes like this:

I had actually heard the song long before I knew anything about Rurouni Kenshin, and since the series title is in Japanese (and I was only first year Japanese), I just kind of assumed the series was a lot like the song in what it dealt with. Imagine my surprise when I actually watched Kenshin!

Yeah, "Freckles" doesn't exactly fit...heh...

According to some person at anime lyrics, this is more accurate. But the direct translation doesn't fit the beats....

Yea, Freckles is a good song, but my favorite Ruro Ken song is probably "Ice Blue Eyes" and "It's Gonna Rain"...^_^
