Musicians you discovered through Internet

When MTV actually played videos 24/7, I loved how it opened my ears to artists. Now that they've gone stupid, I've learned that the Internet can be an even better source for acts that deserve more attention. So, who are some great acts you've discovered through the Internet? Here are some of mine:
Cranes (dream pop band. Nice instrumentation)
Within Temptation (kinda like Evanescense)
Skillet (you folks know these guys. Actually, I heard their song Monster on a WWE commercial and checked them out afterward)
Velvet Revolver (What do you get when you replace GNR's lead singer with Scott Weiland from STP? This!)
Cage the Elephant (if you've played Borderlands, you know them. They do the song "Ain't No Rest For the Wicked")
Anberlin (I'm sure some of you are already familiar with this act, since they're Christian Rock)
Augustana (pretty good stuff)
1,000 Year Old Crutch (The loudest Christian Rock band I know)
Falling Up (sister band for Kutless)
Them Crooked Vultures (features rock god John Paul Jones from LED ZEPPELIN!)

I think I've found 100% of what I'm listening to through the internet. xD
I can really not think of a band that I haven't found on the internet that I'm actually listening too.
*Top 10*
1: Justin Bieber (Pop, 16 year old and still his so good! <3)
2: The Cross Movement (Christian Hip Hop, legends in the Holy Hip Hop culture)
3: Haste The Day (I'm sure most people know of them, Christian Metalcore)
4: As I Lay Dying (Christian Metal, really awesome)
5: Mouthpi3ce (Christian underground rapper, really good)
6: Lecrae (Christan rapper, I'm sure alot of you know of him, personally I'm not a big fan of his music but his lyrics and fire for the Lord is amazing)
7: Jin (Ex battle rapper who got saved and started to spread the gospel through Hip Hop)
8: August Burns Red (Really awesome Christian Metalcore band)
9: Sea of Treachery (Christian Metal, awesomeness)
10: Burden of a Day (Christian Screamocore, love their music)
Number one was a joke, no offence to all Bieber fans out there!

Nowadays, who doesn’t discover new bands on the internet? Ten years ago, before the proliferation of music streaming, things were different, but now that it’s so easy to listen to a band’s music on MySpace or YouTube, most of the time I discover a new band, or get into a band’s music, it’s through the internet. Here are a few favorites:
Dalit (death doom metal)
In Vain (progressive metal)
Harmony (power metal)
Sympathy (death metal)
My Silent Wake (death doom metal) – Okay, so I actually first heard of this band through a song of theirs on a sampler CD that I have in hard copy, but the way that I got hooked on their music was by listening to the songs they had up on their MySpace page over and over again, so I’m going to list them anyways . . . because they’re an amazing band that everyone should listen to (at least, everyone who doesn’t hate metal categorically).

Mumford and Sons - I actually first heard about them from my landlord, who then showed me one of their videos on YouTube. So I guess that at least halfway counts.

Everything I listen to I found through the internet. I didn't even think music I like existed before that. I never listened to the radio much or cared about many current singers/bands that were getting air play. That changed when I accidently discovered Blind Guardian and Nightwish. Kamelot was the first band I found when I went searching for more metal music. I'm still the only person I know who listens to this kind of stuff... but yeah, my list would be waaaaay to long. It would be shorter for me to list the bands I had heard about but never listened to until I got into metal music. But yeah...

I found them through the Internet also - actually, through an AMV.
I like them better than Evanescense...

Working this summer turned me into a Pandora addict; finding new music there is inevitable. So here's what I've found...
Grafton Primary - Depeche Mode meets the Sega Genesis - hard-edged synth-pop with a New Wave finish.
Sneaky Sound System - An disco-ish electro-pop from Australia. That girl's got a voice on her.
Sonata Arctica - Finnish power metal. With keytars.
Joe Satriani - Do you like guitar solos? How about ones that last five minutes? Well then, welcome to the world of instrumental rock.
Zircon - A trance/electronic artist - he does great stuff on OCRemix, but his original work is even better.
I also discovered my taste for Coldplay, Barenaked Ladies, The White Stripes, CAKE, The Clash and The Killers, but you probably already know about them.
