My top five would have to be:

Blind Guardian
Kamelot
Helloween
Nightwish (w/ old singer only)
Van Canto (yes, they are an acappella so everything aside from the drums are their voices and voice distorters)

And my flavor of the month right now is Keldian. I just found out about these guys and they're pretty awesome.

Other favorites include Freedom Call, Iron Maiden, Human Fortress, Symphony X, Theocracy, Black Majesty, Wintersun, Ensiferum, Eluveitie, Stratovarious, Gamma Ray, Edguy, Avantasia, Apocalyptica, AleStorm, Lost Horizon blah blah blah etc etc etc.

Hoo boy. Well, my absolute top favorites, the ones that I like everything they've made, would be:

Linkin Park
Trading Yesterday/The Age of Information (now disbanded)
Within Temptation
Breaking Benjamin
Lecrae
Antonio Vivaldi (though I guess he's not a band :P)

I have many, many favorites that span over almost every genre.

I will list just a few.

Queen, U2, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Creed, Red, Seventh Day Slumber, Sanctus Real, Mary Mary, Red, etc.

I also like 80's music, classic rock (60's-70's), and some older country music (from Garth Brooks back to Hank Williams, Sr.)
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

:jump: Yeah, "When Your Heart Stops Beating" is a good one! I kind of just listen to that album as a whole, really, but I think I like "Lycanthrope" and "Chapter 13" especially. I don't listen to it enough to know it very well DX But I always liked that singer guy best when they were still Blink 182. I used to love "Story of a Lonely Guy".
