Hi. I'm making a CD on Walmart and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good (preferrably wordless) dance/techno/trance music. I ask because I like the melody for this one song by Cascada, but the lyrics are, eh...anyways, if you have a recommendation, please let me know.

YAY! ANOTHER TRANCE LISTENER!
I'm not a fan of Cascada, and while I have recommendations for music without lyrics, it's hard because it really matters to opinion. And because most of my electronic music is very ambient.
This one artist I listen to isn't very heavy in trance and dance, sometimes, but there aren't any lyrics in his music. Lusine ICl is his artist name, and Serial Hodgepodge is a good album to start with. But, I don't know if Wall Mart would carry it. I myself download all my music online, so I don't know what is sold in stores.

Well, let's see....there's Andy Hunter who's an amazing Christian DJ...Though I think his songs have been overused, their still pretty good...
...there's Ultrabeat, another Christian group. While not so popular, still has some good beats...
...I would look into Rob Dougan, but only his Instrumental stuff. When he siungs, not only does it sound terrible, but the lyrics are kind've dark...yet, his music is amazing....though I guess it's more of mix of beats with strings, so I guess technically it's not techno..but still good...

Well I like some of cascadas songs...
here are some that should have fine lyrics-
Miracle
Neverending dream
Kids in america (kim wilder remake)
Also I like someOf "Groove Coverage"
here are a few titles that should have clean lyrics-
Million tears
fly on the wings of love
7 years and fifty days
BUT You should check these out on youtube prolly just to make sure they are your thing.
I also recommend Andy hunter. His beats are pretty jamming.

Well, I'd listen if I could find something I like...which I'm sure I will. But from what I've heard of it, it sounds pretty cool.
Actually, there are plently of techno/trance/dance remixes of He's a Pirate, and I have one of them...the rest are available through iTunes, and most of them sound really cool, the Tiesto and Orchestral remixes being my favorites.

Ah, but is it legal? I went through a whole phase of worrying about illegal music downloads for video game music and hard to find anime themes.

I found a pretty cool website for Christians who love dance music: Check it out - they should have way more recommendations than you can handle.

Wowwee...the first two are great! I can see why you like some of her songs. (The song I'm a little unsure about is the album's namesake, Everytime We Touch...it's those lyrics that I'm not sure are completely okay but I love the way it sounds otherwise.) Thanks again.

Hmm I don't know many techno artists who do songs without lyrics, but these are techno/dance artists I like:
DJ Encore
Lee Jung Hyun
KOTOKO
Közi has some techno-ish songs
Somebody already suggested Groove Coverage
DJ Zorro
TWO-MIX
Anyway, out of all the ones I listed, KOTOKO and Lee Jung Hyun are your best bets, but they don't really do songs without singing...

*nods* It's quite legal. Remixes (to my knowledge) fall almost under a parody section of music, where as long as it's changed enough, it's considered an original work, so don't worry about it.

Thanks guys; and right now, it doesn't really matter if there's lyrics or not...they just have to be clean.
In fact, I think I'm starting to prefer dance music with lyrics.

I can't edit my last post, so I'll just say this here (this question directed at anyone who listens to Cascada):
How many of Cascada's songs would you consider okay (besides the three great recommendations listed above)? And which ones?

I'm not a fan of Cascada to be honest, but she/he/they did a good remix of the song "Hurricane" by Alex Megane.
Some other artists you might want to check out are Agnelli & Nelson, Armin van Buuren, and DJ Tiesto. Nothing I've listened to by any of these artists has been explicit, so definitely give them a shot.
Also, random trivia, but Tiesto is ranked the #1 DJ in the world, and van Buuren is ranked #3 (these rankings are from
http://www.thedjlist.com)
In fact, if you have an account on the iTunes Music Store, you can go and download a *FREE* Podcast by DJ Tiesto called 'Tiesto's Club Life.'
