I'm looking for some good hiphop artists. By good, I mean most importantly not the sexist garbage that turned me off to the genre in high school, then something edifying or even just silly and sounding good.

Pigeon John, Lecrae, Redcloud, Cory Red, Precise, Cory Red and Precise (together), 116 Clique (a collective of many different artists...kind of a Christian Wu-Tang Clan...their 13 Letters album is totally hard), and finally, while I think some of his stuff is weak, Mr. John Reuben.

The Cross Movement, FLAME, and KJ-52's old material.

Oh, man, I totally forgot about Furthermore. Furthermore is awesome. I haven't listened to much T-Bone. Was his old stuff good? I remember he used to host a Christian rap/rock show on the local Christian station here. XD

His older stuff was good. He was pretty much good until that "Gospelalphamegafunkyboogymusic" CD. Then it was all downhill from there. But yeah it was good christian hardcore rap.

I recommend Kj-52 (all his stuff... new or old) And john reuben... Although he is very... well he likes to experiment alot!
Oh and grits. Their new cd redemption is EXCELLENT!
As far as NON christian bands go I really like Fort Minor but I recommend the edited version (their is some swearing) other then that I can't really think of any edifying hip hop artists that aren't christian.
