I'm looking for new music. I prefer Christian rock but I'm open to anything except country and rap ^-^ Some of my favorites are 30 seconds to mars: a beautiful lie, Anbelin: never take friendship personal, Eisly: Room Noises, The Killers, Rock Kills kid, ShowBread: age of reptiles
Have any suggestions?

Anberlin has two other CDs that are definitely worth checking out, and in my opinion, both are better than Never Take Friendship Personal. And I love Never Take Friendship Personal. Blueprints for the Black Market and Cities are the albums you should look for by Anberlin.

Eisley also has new stuff coming out this fall. Keep an eye out for it. XD

Paramore is an excellent female-fronted rock band (rare, but they're very good). They currently have two albums: All We Know is Falling and Riot! Their lyrics are very good, as is their music. http://purevolume.com/paramore

Five Iron Frenzy is a Christian ska band that I've only recently fallen in love with. They're not a band anymore, but you can still find their CDs. And they're basically amazing. Their lyrics range from deep and contemplative to fun and comedic. I highly suggest them. XD

I don't have a lot of time, but lastly, I'll recommend Mae, because they're my favorite band and I'm obligated. XD Hear their stuff here: http://purevolume.com/mae

Hope this helps!

I am entirely fond of all the albums Showbread have made (quite a few).

Their old sound is far different, though.
A lot more raw.

Have you tried some Falling Up?
Really emazing group that's been around a good three years now...
I would personally recomend their second album, "Dawn Escapes," mainly becuase the first album was more experimental rock....Don't know if you like that or not...

I know it is off topic, and I apologize, but I have to know.

.....where can I hear Showbread's old stuff?

The Awakening and Leper, two of the greatest Christian bands in the Gothic Rock genre.
