No. I knew that. Just....nevermind.

Haha, from the looks of it, they don't have many fans. Music can be good without vulgarity; it has no place.

"Stupid MF" is stuck in my head for all eternity.

MIS is another example of why vulgarity is cheap and simpleminded.

I don't agree at all. I think there is quite a bit of good music that can be vulgar in parts. Everyone has there own taste.

MIS is another example of why vulgarity is cheap and simpleminded.

Uh...no. Just because you don't like somthing vulgar, don't use the copout, well...it makes a person dumb. If someone does not have faith, saying somthing vulgar is no different then any other vernacular. That would be like saying, wow...I hate Metal music. A person must be really dumb if they enjoy/preform Metal...cause its not like classical.

Vulgarity is cheap and simpleminded in my eyes.

I never said that all thing s that ar evular are simpleminded and cheap.

I enjoy shows like Family Guy, American Dad, and I like bands like Rage Against the Machines, The Misfits, and others that constantly drop the F bomb.

I happen to like the sound of the song "Stupid MF" but it seems to be nothing more than just a contest to see who can make the most illogical song created.

Read the lyrics to half of MIS' songs and tell me they are beautifully written and then we will just agree to disagree.

If
Vulgarity is cheap and simpleminded in my eyes.
Then why do you..

If you mean, stupid use of cussing. Such as what it sounds like the song Stupid MF is...then I agree. My point was that not all Vulgarity is cheap and simpleminded.

It's a guilty pleasure.
I think it's simpleminded, yet funny sometimes unfortunately.

I take one thing back.
I hate American Dad.

Anyways, I would like to hear your explain the "not all vulgarity is cheap and simpleminded" further.
I'm not challenging you, I just want to get a better understanding of what you mean.

Some very smart people cuss. This does not make a person stupid. I understand that as Christians we should watch what we say. (I won't get into the whole is cussing sin debate, fact is we should strive to keep our witness--kicks soapbox away) However...I fail to understand how it makes a person dumb to cuss. Like I said before, songs that just use it over and over...yes, that is foolish. IE That Limp Bizkit song where Durst drops the F bomb like 50 somthing times. Thats just silly. But if someone stresses somthing by using a cuss...I fail to see how that denotes stupidity. While some may consider it crude, being crude does not mean stupid. That just sounds like a strange way to guilt people into not cussing. "Don't cuss, cause that means you're dumb!" I think it is pretty obvious, if you get mad about somthing...you've already given into anger. If I have to, I will go dig up quotes of famous smart people cussing to prove my point. But I think you get what I am saying now.

yes ^-^ but please keep in mind darling that a lot of people do.
It would be better to not post questionable bands.

For those of us who can ignore vulgarity then this sort of thing isn't a problem

but many people are not used to vulgarity

Just because someone does not like a band because they are vulgar, does not mean they are not used to hearing vulgar things. Bad logic.

I know what Limp Bizkit song you're talking about.
Ugh...
To think I used to like that song.

Anyways, I'm not saying it makes a person stupid, but I can't think of any popular comedians who don't express vulgarity.

I'm more impressed with a comedian who can make me crack up and not swear at all, because that means they expressed something extremely original.

I think that vulgarity is unoriginal and that pretty much every stand up comedian uses it, and it's getting old.

I'd rather hear a comedian be vulgar then use the same lines someone else made up. *Cough* Mencia. (who is a giant thief of other comedians) And I think you meant Limp Bizkit right? I have never heard an LP song use it like i was talking about...

Yeah, Limp Bizkit.
The song with 48 F words.
I was out of it.

Mencia IS vulgar though.

Bad example on my part. I just wanted to take the moment to bash Mencia.

I've found myself chuckling at some of his stuff, but I haven't heard anything more than racial crap from him.

There's one comedian I really like that is a vitrilaquist (a Huge 'sp?') that I've see on Comedy Central a couple times, but anyways, back to MSI...
