CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I was thinking of finally a getting a Copeland album alongside my long-awaited purchase of The Chariot-The Fiancee.

Of the albums Copeland has created, which is the most superior?

I was thinking of going for their latest, but I want to hear if any of their work is better.

I like In Motion the best, but you can't really go wrong with anything they've put out. The new one is spectacular but it's kind of boring. I don't mean to say that it's bad...it's just.....really slow.

I really couldn't choose. They're all really good. XD In Motion has the most upbeat songs, though, so that's one thing to think about. Beneath the Medicine Tree and Eat, Sleep, Repeat are both just as good, but in a different way, I guess. In Motion was my first Copeland album, though, so I'd recommend it, yeah.

I think I'll go for In Motion.

Yeah "In Motion" is probably the best to start out with. All their stuff is amazing though.

I went to buy In Motion but the store I went to had "Eat, Sleep, Repeat" and "Beneath the Medicine Tree" so I just went home.

Then I realized, "Hey wait, I still haven't gotten The Chariot's "Fiancee"."

I just got Eat, Sleep, Repeat, and I intend to mix this with Keane and other awesome things.

Eat, Sleep, Repeat and Beneath Medicine Tree are both excellent...they're just not good for much more than background noise.

Also, Fiancee is the album of the year (so far). Why do you not have it yet?

For some reason, I believe that Maylene II is a tad better.
(While I love both, I highly prefer Maylene, and "II" is freakin' incredible.)

Maylene II is nowhere near as good as The Fiancee, and II IS freakin' incredible.

The Fiancee kicks me in the face, though. I can listen to the whole thing all the way through, and it's only 30 minutes so I typically pop it back in and let it play through one more time!

I'm sorry Jamie, but that is just ridiculous. I bought Eat, Sleep, Repeat yesterday and it just blew my mind. Instead of hot steaming slices of rawk, I got collected tones and certain sounds. It was almost minimalist, and I LOVED it. I'm thinking of making a Tom Yorke/Keane/Copeland mix because of this.

I wasn't to impressed with "And they Faced Each Other."

That's so sad. They Faced Each Other is cooler than 90% of II, and it's not even the best song on The Fiancee.

And yeah, Zarn, it's a great album, don't get me wrong, it's just that I can't listen to it for anything other than studying because it puts me to sleep.

I like driving to E,S,R. Copeland is really fun to sing along with horribly.

I need to listen to Eat, Sleep, Repeat some more with all of the gushing going on about it in this thread.

One song I can't get into though. "Kite" I believe it was.
Aaron sounds too much like a girl in that song and it just sounds really weird.

So far my favorite song is Track 1 but they're all really good songs (besides "Kite". I'll probably eventually like it).

Oh and Kkun, about The Chariot, I wasn't too impressed with "And They Faced Each Other" because of how much praise you gave it and how it was the first I heard of their new album.

As soon as I heard, "And They Shot Each Other", I was impressed.

Kite is one of my favorite songs on that record! Give it time, it might grow on you. It just makes me terribly happy.

Also, as for The Chariot, "They Faced Each Other" is awesome, I don't see why you can't get into it. But, "They Shot Each Other" is also great. I really like "Back to Back," "They Drew Their Swords," "Forgive Me, Nashville," and "The Deaf Policeman" the best, but I can listen to the whole album without changing songs.

GAH, mine too. I'm just a fan of Aaron Marsh's falsetto. XD But yeah, I especially love how he sings the word "flight". Sooo pretty.

Sorry bro but even though you've got nearly double the post count I have not only the age seniority but also I've been on CAA since 2003 and you 2005. I officially get the title of TD1.

Anyway, Kite does certianly grow on you. It's still not my favorite, but I love how bizzare and interesting it is. So besides track one (No One Really Wins) what is your favorite so far?
