Hey does anyone know of any good songs with a beat that gets you pumped up that I could use for a warmup cd for my basketball team? Christian or secular, it's just gotta be clean...

Thanks.

Final Countdown (from Rocky) or Rocky Theme
Get ready For This - by 2 Unlimited
We Will Rock You - Queen
Ready to Go - Republica
Bro Hymn Tribute - Pennywise
The Brews - NOFX

How about the Pulp Fiction theme, minus the intro? Although personally I'd leave the intro in to psych them up lol

second half of Trip Like I Do - Crystal Method (with Filter)

General punk music seems to work.
Perhaps some Metallica like Enter Sandman or For Whom the Bells Toll

The Pulp Fiction theme is a good choice, minus Tim Roth and company screaming obscenities. *ahem*

The Pulp Fiction theme is a good choice...

Ooh, yes. Definately is :)

How about the following, going from fairly light to heavy:

Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy, Hey Girl
Shy FX - Shake UR Body
Prodigy - Jericho
Dillinja - Twist 'em Out
Nitrous - Bad Company (DILLINJA remix)

I have a lot of "pump-up" songs. :thumb:

DJ Visage-Rock That Sound
Manmade God-Swamp Water
(hed) PE-Blackout
Static-X-Cold
Flaw-Inner Strength
Rurouni Kenshin Theme-Heart of Sword
Linkin Park-Somewhere I Belong
Powerman 5000-Danger is Go!; Bombshell; Megatronic; Car Crash; That's Entertainment; Action (just about anything by Powerman 5000 is good pump-up music, but these are the best in my opinion)
Rage Against the Machine-Calm Like a Bomb
Sevendust-B**ch (The title is bad, but the lyrics are clean)
Soilwork-No More Angels; Natural Born Chaos; Overload, Millionflame
Stratovarius-Holy Light; Curtains are Falling; Eagleheart; Soldier's Prayer
Adema-Immortal; Unstable
Disturbed-The Game (I think it's clean, but I'm not certain)
DJ Liquid-Birth of Liquid Dreams

That should be enough to get you through practice and then some.

It depends on the techno. If you playing something like the Juno Reactor song/s from Matrix: Reloaded, then they would probably get pumped up. However, if you play something soft (DJ Mystik, for instance) it won't do very much to pump them up.

That could be a good thing if they can channel their energy into basketball. :P
