I listened to a few songs from it and I do like it quite a bit. Though I think it sounds more like their stuff from "Beneath The Medicine Tree" than "In Motion."

I agree. Beneath the Medicine Tree had a lot of the more mellow-ish songs, and this CD is full of those wonderful things. XD

*wipes sweat off brow*
Usually people hate it when I say i liked BMT more than In Motion, the songs have more...meaning to them than in In Motion.
Emo falsetto forever!

I don't hate it that you say that Locke...I just don't agree with you on it. Though BMT is great I just think that they expiremented on In Motion and the expirement was a success.

*revives thread*
Ok, so we all know that Eat, Sleep, Repeat came out yesterday. We also all know (probably) that it came with a free EP with alternate versions of the songs "No One Really Wins", "Don't Slow Down", and "You Love to Sing". So tell! What do you guys think of the alternate renditions and the CD as a whole? Which songs are your favorite? I knew a few weeks ago that "I'm A Sucker for A Kind Word" is definitely my favorite song from the CD, but I just heard the EP yesterday, and from that, I'd have to say that "Don't Slow Down" is my favorite remake.
So what are your thoughts?

So I picked this up tonight and I'm about five songs in and loving it so far. It's different from all the others so far but still distinctly Copeland. And it's good for a band to be able to do that.

This album is excellent. I'm on track 5. I'm really, really enjoying it. Marsh's voice isn't as unbearable for me as it was on Beneath Medicine Tree. It has the same slow, ballady feel of BMT but his vocals are closer to In Motion. I really, really like it.

What kind of band is Copeland? I've never heard of them.

I like the special edition EP. The remixes are really interesting.

Yeah, they are! My favorites are "Don't Slow Down", followed by "No One Really Wins". "You Love to Sing" is good, but it sounds similar to the first version. Still, they're all great songs.

Anyway I just got "Beneath The Medicine Tree." I do enjoy it quite a bit...And I can't stop listening to "Eat, Sleep, Repeat." It in a kinda indie somewhat girly way rocks my face off.
