Myspace Band Sites

These days it appears that almost every band imaginable is turning to myspace as a method of allowing people to freely sample their music without cutting into the profits that enable their survival. Therefore, for forum members to have an easy way of sampling new music to see if they like something, I think it wise to start a thread listing band pages on myspace. I will ask that all posts follow this format:

Band Name :: Myspace Genre Description Copied and Pasted from the Band Page (Any Additional Classifications Not on the Myspace Page in Parenthesis) :: Link (Content Warning if any Material Somewhere on the Myspace that One Might Reasonably Suspect Some Would Find Objectionable, or Vice Versa to Signify a Definitely Christian Artist)

Thus:

ThouShaltNot :: New Wave / Industrial / Indie (/ Synthpop) :: http://www.myspace.com/thoushaltnotmusic (Christian)
Skinny Puppy :: Industrial / Electronica (/ Hip Hop) :: http://www.myspace.com/skinnypuppy (Objectional Content)
Stromkern :: Industrial / Alternative / Hip Hop :: http://www.myspace.com/stromkern
Clan of Xymox :: Gothic / Electro / New Wave :: http://www.myspace.com/clanofxymox
Switchblade Symphony :: Electronica (/Darkwave) :: http://www.myspace.com/30511393
Faith and the Muse :: Alternative / Gothic / Electronica :: http://www.myspace.com/faithandthemuse
Joy Electric :: Electro / Pop / Experimental :: http://www.myspace.com/joyelectric (Christian)
Echoing Green :: Electronica / Alternative / Gothic (/Synthpop) :: http://www.myspace.com/echoinggreen (Christian)
New Order :: Rock / Electronica / New Wave :: http://www.myspace.com/newordermusic
Saviour Machine :: Progressive / Gothic / Rock :: http://www.myspace.com/saviourmachine (Christian)

Lol, we both listed Saviour Machine - goes to show how much we liked 'em. I would prefer you mark off any bands in this list that are Christian like Saviour Machine for people looking for Christian artists in a genre.

Meh, I love it and that's all that matters IMO. Plus it adds something intresting to the music.

But yeah, they are awesome.

In Flames is melodeath, except for their newest cd which also incorporates metalcore. Crimson Thorn is brutal death metal.

I doubt that they actually worship them; more than likely it's just a common lyrical theme they have that also works as a good marketing gimmick.
