Showbread's new CD is a must on my list, Skillet's freshly finished studio jobbie, and Tourniquet hinted at a new album about a year and a half ago. That'd be nice.

Front Line Assembly - Implode

This industrial album featuring a man having a lovely time with his cybernetic equipment on the cover is said to be one of FLA's best albums, and one of the reasons why so many rivet-heads love these guys to pieces (hopefully not like the guy on the cover). From the descriptions, audio samples, and the Prophecy EP, I've gathered that this takes on a danceable drum 'n bass influenced rhythym in a very cyberpunk style, which sounds very well put together.

[Edit: this has been out for a while though, its just that I had to special order it]

Audio Paradox - ?

Word is Christian Industrial group Audio Paradox is going to release a new album soon this year. Hearing the new stuff on the Myspace ( http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=4161457 ), it seems that unlike The Iniquity of Time (though also an excellent album), they have figured out how to play electric guitars in a more industrial style rather than in a rock style. I really look forward to this.

Virgin Black - [Requiem?]

I hear doom metal (though definite gothic rock influenced) group Virgin Black is working on producing 3 different styles of Requiem masses, one fully neo-classical, one mixed neo-classical and doom metal, and one fully doom metal. As one who finds that the Requiem is amongst the most uplifting Christian music I can think of, and who has bought several artist's versions, I eagerly anticipate these three.

Starflyer 59 is coming out with a new CD again? It seems like they have a new one every 8 months or so. It's a good thing they're cool.

I'm really looking forward to the new Evanescence cd. It should be pretty sweet. Oh and Chevelle, too. They're going on tour with Nickelback (who I really don't like but ah well) soon so that means that a new cd has got to be in the works. At least that's what I think.

The fun thing about Starflyer is I think Jason Martin is just using the same riffs and variations on those riffs over and over, and then adding different words and melodies. That way, he fools us into thinking he's being a creative machine when he's really just regurgitating his old stuff BUT IT SOUNDS GOOD!

I haven't listened to them enough (I've only listened to three of their CD's) to know if I agree with you yet...But that'd be pretty funny if that's what he was doing.

Because of the Musical Alphabet thread, I remembered Deadsy. So, I went to their myspace, knowing I'd be disappointed to see that their upcoming album, Phantasmagore (3 years in the making) still wouldn't have a realease date. So what do I find out? That it's finally coming out in August! So...

Deadsy - Phantasmagore

Oh yeah, new Norma Jean is on my list, too. Hopefully it'll be thrashier.

The Showdown's "Temptation Come My Way" is due out at the end of the summer or early fall or winter or something. That's straight out of David Bunton's mouth. XD

Does anybody know when the drop date for the new Skillet album is?

Actually The Hand That Feeds is the new band that some of the guys from Staple are making...It's pretty sad that they're breaking up, but from what I've heard THTF should be really good...And hard as well.

Oh yeah, I'm also looking forward to the new Pillar album. Time will tell if it's as good as their old stuff. "Where Do We Go From Here" wasn't all I had hoped after the incredible Fireproof album.
