Anyone heard of Gackt?

OKay I heard a song called "redemption" By a singer named Gackt... Anyone ever heard of him? I really liked this song! And I would really like to Know more info about him!
Im guessing that hes a J-rocker but I dont know! Info very much appreciated!

XD I learned the name Gackt on CAA!!! You can find vidoes with him in YouTube. So popular...I can't believe I didn't hear the name before.

The song Redemption was actually the main opening theme of Dirge of Cerberus. Gackt actually appears in Dirge of Cerberus. Won't tell you where though. You'll have to find out for yourself.
