I saw your post and I was like "JoC's new album is already out???!!!Whaattt?? Arrrrrhhhhhhh!!!" <races to Christian bookstore immediately>

  It ROCKS It ROCKS!! oh yeah baby! :hits_self :hits_self

Their style has changed a bit but it doesn't matter! I think they've gotta more creative. I love EVERY song...especially Sunny Days, Show You Love, Jesus 's Blood Never Failed Me Yet, Lonely People..ah they're all good!

I sense a bit of 'Beatles' and (believe it or not, "country!" but it's good) and rock influence...^^ and the lyrics are more faith-related as compared to the Eleventh Hour, IMO. That makes me very very happy...

[pls pardon the gushings of a big JoC fan]

AHH, it's good to see I'm not alone! I can't decide with is better, "Trouble Is" (almost sounds like "A man of Constant Sorrow") or "Jealious Kind"(beautifull piano work).

oh yeah, I was surprised at the lack of responses here. I thought most ppl liked JoC. :( oh well...

I've listened to the album over and over again for the last few days and have noticed different instruments and styles (compare with their first debut album). I like the fact that they've been experimenting. :thumb:

Personally, I prefer 'Jealous Kind' since I like the solemn moody piano pieces and the 'gospel' style towards the end while "Trouble Is" has a more country rock sound to it. but really, I like ALL the songs in this album as compared to 11th Hour.

Do you know who's who in JoC? Which one's Dan Haseltine (lead singer), Charlie Lowell, Stephen Mason and Matthew Odmark?

*THread Resurection*

i just relized something JOC may be reforemed... they dont sing about the "raptur" , they do sing about God as a jealous God, The FEAR of God, and that God isnt some floaty spirity thing "Bury my head, full of shame, you pick me and say i look like you" That you cant loose your salvation "God's hasnt failed me yet. Wont fail me yet, "Im in the why of falling down, I wont let you go now." And God's amazing grace
