Ahh, I can't get the e-card to work to see the tourdates!! Can anyone help me out with that? Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the tourdates on their PureVolume page instead. No plans near me... Oh well. Does anyone know if the album will be still be released in stores next month?

I got to see Mute Math at Soulfest a while back. They really rock! I was a big Earthsuit fan though...

Yup yup, I got to see Mute Math last summer and they were freaking awesome. I already loved their EP, but they were even better live. I can recall Paul saying that the new CD would be out this February. Now all I know is that the CD is already being sold "Exclusively at concerts." I can't find any info in-store release, so I'm wondering if it will be released in stores at all. I hope so... And my guess is that it will be.

Indeed, I miss Earthsuit as well. Kaleidoscope Superior is one of my favorite CD's that I own. (Plus, I love all their lesser-known stuff, too!) It's a pity I never got to see them when they were still around... I discovered them right around the time they broke up. :\

EDIT:

BIG NEWS!! Mute Math will be on the Late Late Show with Craig Fergueson Febraury 1 at 1:30am on CBS. w00t! I know what I'll be watching! Who wants to bet they'll be playing "Chaos?" :D

Paul Meany did vocals/keyboards for Earthsuit. Roy Mitchell played bass in Earthsuit. Now they're both in Mute Math. I'd highly recommend checking out Earthsuit if you haven't already. They're a very different sounding band. In fact, they're different than any other band I've heard. There's definately some rap-rock elements, thrown in with a bunch of other jazzy-electronic sounds. "One Time" was a big hit, and is still hailed as TVU's #7 best video of all time.

Announcement: Mute Math should be performing tonight (Friday, Feb 3) on the Late Late Show at 12:35am on CBS. It was postponed due to the passing Craig Ferguson's father earlier this week.

They were on earlier tonight. I guess you missed it. :( I'm sure they'll replay it some day... Or maybe they're post it on their blog.

Well, they did play Chaos, and did not disappoint. They didn't sacrifice their craziness for the sake of being on tv. Darren King still duct-taped his headphones to his head, and Paul Meany jumped up on his bench and rocked the keytar for part of the song. I really hope I can go to one of their concerts this year...

I want their CD so bad... Thankfully, they've begun to sell it online, so I don't have to wait for them to come back over here. :)
