Rap lovers gather around. Here is the room where CAA members can recommend certain rappers or rap albums to other members.

I personally recommend my all time favorite rapper, FLAME. This guys is just awesome and you can tell he has a very strong walk with the lord. I JUST found out he has a new CD called. He also has a single called "Give us the Truth" about his testimony and its pretty sad. He also has "Give us the Truth pt.2" which continues his testimony and has a much more catchy beat on his new CD. His current CDs are:

-FLAME
-FLAME: REWIND

I recommend that and:

-Cross Movement: Heaven`s Mentality
-Cross Movement: House of Representatives
-Cross Movement: Human Emergency
-Cross Movement: Holy Culture
-Cross Movement: Higher Definition

I'm not really a fan of rap but I do like a few...Such as "Sup The Chemist" and Pigeon John.

Meh, KJ-52`s worst Cd is "It`s Pronounced 52". Grubthefragger you need to pick up "Calloborations". The jokes and material on that CD is 1000x funnier than that other CD.

I`m mainly talking about christian rap with rappers that are serious since most comedy rap gets old after the first listen through.

I have Cross Movement's "Holy Culture" CD, and honestly, I don't like it. I've tried to like it, but I just can't stand to listen to the whole thing at once.

The best Christian rap album (or any rap album for that matter) in my opinion is "The Last Street Preacha" by T-Bone. Simply amazing. Not a single bad song on the 17-track disc.

The last rap musicians I still enjoy are Public Enemy and Beastie Boys. I am leaning toward DC Talk, though.

I have to say that rap is a lot better than hip hop. Which pretty much sucks. Anyway another good rapper is Furthermore. Funnest white rap out there.

I like The Grits. I like they're songs "Ooh Ahh" feat. Tobymac and "They All Fall Down"

I can't believe I forgot to say Tobymac.

Toby Mac is more just funk music with some hip-hop and singing.
My friend is cousins with a guy in the Beastie Boys.

FLAME pwns Grits. As far as Grits goes I have "The Art of Translation", "DA" and "DB".

"DA" sucked, "DB" rocked, AoT was good.

I got a 5-track demo for Flame`s rewing. Ya gotta check it out, dog!

As for Cross Movement, Holy Culture had a terrific message but I didn`t like the sound.

Honestly I really don't like almost any of the rappers that anyone has posted except Tbone. He is probably the fastest christian rapper out there. The only rapper I know of who can go as fast as him is Twista (never heard him but heard that he's probably the fastest rapper there is.)

I keep digging out the Christian rappers that have free stuff out, and keep getting disappointed by the continued insertion of foul language.
For further above ground, Knowdaverbs is one of the best ones I've found so far. There were numerous good tracks on the Grapetree Records comp I got a long time ago, but I haven't heard a full album from any of them to have a solid opinion.

Grits' "The Art of Translation" is a really good CD. "Ooh Ahh" is one of my absolute favorite songs. TobyMac also rocks, although he's not entirely rap.

Anyone heard Ill Harmonics? They seem pretty cool, but I haven't heard a whole lot from them.

Meh I used to listen to Christian rap. Now I listen to Christian metal! Yay! But seriously I think the best Christian rap CD i've heard is Cross Movement's Holy Culture. Another rapper I liked was Gibraan. Not well known but I really liked his style.

Oh man, I forgot to say John reuben.

John Reuben....

Meh...

I`m not a fan of how he inserts snuffles and grunts and his rap songs and even whipes his nose while he`s rapping...purposly.

Listen to 'Do Not' and you will soon understand.

Knowdaverbs is awesome! I think the thing I love most about his music is his vocabulary. So large compared to most rap artists out there...

DJ Maj's "Boogiroot" CD is really good.
