Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) has a side project that sounds pretty cool.

Highly recomemded if you like rap/Linkin Park.

I'll have to listen to it at some point. I intensely dislike rap but for some reason Mike Shinoda sounds great. Maybe because he doesn't write about money, fame, and sex.

I was kinda worried when I say a parental advisory on the CD, Linkin Park is famous for not using profanity in their songs.

There is (alot) of cussing esp. on the slower songs.
Though on some songs (Kenji) there's no cussing and the lyrics are about America's imprisment of Japanese Americans during WW2.

Impresive stuff (Mike talks about how LK was critizied for having him rap) , just dont let your Grandma hear it.

well, actually, Fort Minor is the group name. Not the album. If you go to the official site, he explains how it was intentionally named to contrast one another. Any way I kind of forgot.

Me being an LP fan, I do like Shinoda's album. And it's not so much I don't like rap, or even the level of swearing, but just the content of their lyrics. However, Mike Shinoda has proven that you can rap just about anything. Now if he only used a more graduated vocabulary and put it into a rap, that'd be sweet.

So, as a person who is about 50/50 interested and is afraid to buy another album that will gather dust or be used as a coaster, how about a rating from 1 to 10, 10 being the best?
