Being from New York,I hear alot of music,especially the rise of Raggaeton (Oh God please forgive me but I REALLY DISLIKE RAGGAETON OH my GOODNESS!)But anyways,I've looked at hip hop and Im surprised at the decline of how Hip hop is.Everything is either gangster or talk about demeaning girls.The only lyrics I liked from secular hip hop was Game and Eminem.Even with that,hip hop is missing something.The lyrics in christian hip hop is serious,its not just.Like Cross Movement,they are like theologians with their lyrics,they are very intricate.But here's some lyrics from a song called "Datz Whasup" From the Nicky Cruz' Outreach's CD called Ready 4 War

Some of the lyrics is a bit off because Im going based on listening on the song and not actual lyrics.That is almost the first verse of the song.

Just about every song I have heard from Eminem and Game are both very guilty of singing about gangster crap or demeaning girls...or cutting there throat and sticking them in there trunk (Eminem)

That's a bit of a double standard there. Calling out rap and hip-hop on that when you make excuses for Eminem and The Game. You really must not be looking hard enough. There are plenty of good secular hip-hop groups out there that are not about ho's, guns, and drugs.

CrossMove have you heard of the label "Grapetree?" They used to be one of the biggest christian rap labels out there (I don't know if they still are, but they put out some good rap.)
