Music Visualization?

I've never given this much thought before. But I've kinda notice that [with most songs] as I listen to music, my brain tends to form some sort of visual imagery about the melody. It's not something I can put my finger on, something hazy, just past my consciousness, bu it's there. It's kind of like a groove in my mind that the music plays over and over, forming certain little blips in my thinking. Maybe I'm making absolutely no sense whatsoever, but I thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone has a clue what I mean.
Visualizing music...hm... Well?

This is going to sound odd, Felix, but I think I kind of understand just what you mean. I tend to "see" different musical keys as different colors -- those with the flats are the cooler colors, while those with the sharps are the warmer colors. I have no idea why I do this, but I've been like this since I was little -- go figure.

i see people when i listen to music...i relate different songs to people...kinda wierd...i zone out when i lsiten to music and that's what i think of unless i'm working while listening to music...i mean...i know guys who play in local bands like succum-b so i think of those guys when i hear their music...i can't really say who i think of cuz a lot of times it changes every time i lsiten to a song...i think a lot of it has to do with what's going on in my life...sometimes i think of anime characters too...^_^
