Best non-mainstream Worship

Postby Nu-En-Jin » Mon Sep 19, 2005 3:19 pm

Always on the prowl for those who get creative with their praise, I'm looking for more bands / artists who are classified as "worship".
I understand that there are rock bands and such that write worshipful tunes (i.e. Switchfoot's "On Fire" or "Twenty-Four", or Showbread's "Matthias Replaces Judas", or "Every New Day" by FIF), but that's not what I'm looking for.
What I need is more music that, on the whole, is devoted to praising the Lord, and is typically subjected to the label of "worship music".
Some of my recent under-the-corporate-radar artists, the likes of which I'm hoping you guys can help me find more of, would be:
Enter the Worship Circle
Phil Wickham
Waterdeep
Downpour
(the one from ATL)
... that kind of thing.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance :thumb:

I don't know if this is the type of worship music you're looking for... but the group Something Like Silas is great. Hope this helps you in your quest.
