Hi people,

Just wondering if anyone has ever listened to the Norwegian band a-ha?

I have four of their CDs, and got their "Headlines and Deadlines" video clips DVD the other day.

I'd have to say that my favourite clip has to be "Take On Me" so far. The combination of real life and animation is quite stunning, especially when you consider that the original was done in the mid 1980's.

Cheers. :)

Hmmmm. I'm not a raving fan but I don't mind listening to their music. SOme of it is pretty good, even if its 80s music.

:D I am WELL versed in a-ha's "Take On Me" and in my opinion, in my eyes, it's one of the best music videos ever. It's my favorite one, and I adore this song. Especially that high note! Wooo!

Besides those two songs, I haven't listened to them much.

I have heard the song many times before, but had no idea of the band's name or nationality.

Discovered the music video days ago. And the fact that the animation is outdated doesn't diminish its sheer awesomeness.

Yes, The Living Daylights is great. Actually, the whole soundtrack for the movie is good. Besides being the only Timothy Dalton movie I can stand (and actually didn't mind), John Barry did a nice job with a 80's pounding beat especially with Necros Attacks (the henchman du jour).

Take On Me was one of my favorite songs "back in the day." A lot of that had to do with the video, which is pretty good.

*1000 songs from his high school days are now flooding termyt's head. Please stand by until he is once again capable of independent thought.*

XCAFx - try your local music store. If there are "listen before you buy" options with the headsets in the store, I'm sure the staff will be happy to let you try it. Cheers.
