concerts you've been to?

Now that I think about it I've been to quite a few!

-Cher (yeah I know, parents had a ticket for me to go so whatever)

-Crowned King (awsome mosh concert! semi-local band... not sure if anyone here has even heard of them)

-Venere (some band a few towns over)

-Accident Scene (another band a few more towns over)

-My Broken Hero (our local Christian band... they bought a building to make a nice local underground concert place and bring bands like Accident Scene and Venere and Crowned King in^^ Course they have to remind the other bands not to swear and keep it clean, heck their youth paster helps out at concerts. The band's recording an EP right now too!)

-Hillsongs United (yay Historymaker 03!)

-Delirious (yay Historymaker 05!)

-Momentum Generation (such a cool band! just picking up popularity and they mostly do Hillsongs songs... also from a few towns over)

and... I think that's about it for now^^ I've been missing out a lot of the local concerts but whatever. Could've gone to our local Swollen Members/Treble Chargers, or the Sweatshop Union/GOB concert, but I wasn't into the concert hype at the time^^ It's really fun though having more popular bands come into a no-name town liek this to play and the moshing and everything is totally fun^^ But sweaty... verrrry sweaty!!

I think I've been to four.

N'Sync - In honor of my 13th birthday, I screamed myself hoarse that night

LaRue- They were at my church *shrugs*

Great Big Sea - My favorite live band ever. I saw them as the closing act at a folk festival and they had entire audience on their feet attempting to jig. These guys have so much energy and they really seem to love performing, it's just a pity that the Newfie accents kinda make the banter and jokes difficult to understand...

Thornley - Very loud with many flashing lights, and they did Led Zepplin covers. It was fun

Rebecca St James - Australian born pop singer who lives in USA
Audio Adrenaline -an Australian rock band
Seraph's Coal -a South Australian punk band
Planetshakers -a South Australian worship band

there may be a few others that I can't remember.

Last weekend was Creation West! They have nearly every well-known Christian band you could think of. I went on friday and observed the performances of the following bands:

Pillar
Kutless
Lincoln Brewster
Audio Adrenaline
Michael W. Smith

There was also a worship leader guy that was pretty good. I think his name was Michael Gunger or something. I wish I could've seen Sanctus Real, though (they played Saturday). They're such an awesome band!

My current goal is to try to see the Supertones before they stop touring...unless they already have...

Don't tell me! eep!

I've also seen the Insyderz and Third Day, along with a lot of other bands, but those are two of my major favorites that come to mind.

To all who have been to a P.O.D concert. Are they really good? I'm a huge P.O.D fan (my favourite band) but they never came to South Australia to play. *Sniff*

Yeah! Creation is like 30 mins. from where I live! I only went one day though cause I've been working off my rear-end this summer. I have some good memories from going to Creation. Last year I got to see BOTH Jeremy Camp AND Sanctus Real. I was a happy happy man. Plus, yeah, the Newsboys always have the best show with the lights and effects and all. It's awesome to be able to worship alongside so many.

Yeah, Relient K is a type of car. I think it's not being made any more though. I saw something that looked like a Relient K, but it was a "Something-or-other" K that started with an "A." Anyhow...

An 'anti-reliant k' perhaps? Which means that it's unreliable?

Ok, I'll stop. :hits_self

That's quite impressive for a 17 year old. Lots of cool old school bands. (I'm a sucker for classic rock. Thanks Dad!)
